Growing up in the picturesque Lake Tahoe area has deeply influenced my art. I find endless inspiration in the stunning landscapes, serene beaches, and vibrant colors of nature. With over 30 years of experience as a graphic designer and studio artist, I pour my passion into every piece I create.

From my earliest memories, art has been a source of joy and fascination in my life. Growing up, I cherished moments spent creating alongside family and friends, finding happiness in artistic expression. At just five years old, I was captivated by the magic of art at Stanford University's summer camp, where my babysitter's floral sketches in sparkling puffy paint sparked my imagination. This early exposure to creativity laid the foundation for my lifelong journey as an artist.

When my family moved to Lake Tahoe when I was eight, I was immediately enchanted by the pristine blues of the lake and the majestic beauty of the surrounding mountains. Coming from a background split between the vibrant hues of Palm Springs and the urban energy of Palo Alto, Lake Tahoe's natural beauty felt like a profound experience. Inspired by its breathtaking landscapes, I began capturing its beauty through photography, drawing, and painting, even at that young age. Lake Tahoe became not only my home but also my inspiration, fueling a passion for artistic expression that would define my life's work.

My artistic journey truly began with a set of oil paints gifted by my dad when I was just a year old, leaving an unexpected masterpiece on my mom's brand-new carpet. Even then, I felt a calling to create, setting the stage for a lifetime dedicated to artistry.

Several milestones have profoundly shaped my artistic style over the years. Early in my career, mastering digital design tools allowed me to blend traditional artistry with modern techniques, giving my work a lively quality. My life experiences, from outdoor adventures with my family to wilderness and survival camps, have all contributed to the vivid, organic feel that defines my artistic approach today.

Today, as a graphic designer with over three decades of experience, I immerse myself in the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe to draw inspiration for my art.
