Hello... I'm Georgia and I can help.
I am a website designer, developer, social media manager, artist, etc.
I love to create and design websites using computer codes like html, css and javascript. I have an AAS Degree in Graphic Communications with additional 3 years of college Fine Arts. I was trained to originate ideas and communicate them professionally from research and strategy to design and creating professional mockups for approval. I can design, publish, and maintain your new website. Most importantly it will have SEO, search engine optimization, and be responsive across multiple types of devices likes phones, tablets, computers, and TV’s.
As a professional artist I am inspired by the earth's environments. I love creating websites with an organic feel like nature with lots of color and energy. I have lived near the ocean, the desert, the mountains, the city, the valleys. Born and raised in California my family then moved to Glenbrook, Nevada. I grew up in beautiful Lake Tahoe. I currently live in Minden Nevada about 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe and Reno.
I love being able to drive to incredible natural places like the Sierra Mountains. Living in such a beautiful place I am inspired by the world we live in. It drives my creativity every day in hopes of catching a portion of its magic, communicating a portion of its language.
After getting my degree I took a couple years off to start a fused glass art business. I manage various positions including creating, marketing, social media, networking, sales, website design, maintance and more. I operate an Etsy shop with over 100 art pieces that I have created and market online with sales worldwide. I have Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. I also own an eBay store selling second hand fine jewelry and designer items. I have operated these online e-commerce businesses for almost 10 years. Most of my business experience comes from my personal experiences as an entrepreneur for over 20 years.
Before getting my AAS degree, I had an equestrian business for almost 10 years in Gardnerville Nevada. I managed a website that I created and maintained for over 5 years using Web.com. That past life is a whole books worth of information so I won’t go into that ”life story” here.
My career goal now is to be able to create professional, functional websites, digital products, and services for small businesses, self-employed individuals or large companies wanting a bigger presence online.
