About Me
Hi, I'm Georgia Novotny, a graphic designer, fine artist, and web developer based in northern Nevada. With over 30 years of experience, I blend creative vision with technical expertise to produce visually stunning designs.
In my fine art practice, I work with a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pastels, using tools like high-quality brushes, palette knives, and texture tools to create unique, organic textures and vibrant color compositions. For digital art, I rely on Adobe Creative Suite, including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
I also specialize in website development, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cms to build custom, responsive websites that align with my clients' goals. I manage multiple Etsy shops and an eBay store, which gives me insight into current design trends and e-commerce practices.
Passionate about AI tools like MidJourney and ChatGPT, I incorporate them to streamline my workflow and enhance creativity. I am dedicated to constantly evolving and refining my skills, and I thrive in independent roles where I can manage projects and bring creative ideas to life.
Growing up in Glenbrook, Nevada, surrounded by Lake Tahoe’s beauty, deeply influenced my art. College broadened my connection to nature, from the deserts of La Quinta to the ocean in Monterey, inspiring my work.
As a Pisces, I feel at home in water, enjoying snorkeling at Sand Harbor and floating down the Truckee River—experiences that fuel my creativity.
Family means everything to me. I’m lucky to live close to my parents, siblings, and spend time with my husband, fur babies, and lifelong friends.
I love warm weather and recharging through travel, especially in Mexico and Hawaii, where I dream of working remotely.
I’ve been with my husband for over 25 years, and though we don’t have children, our fur babies keep us young at heart. As a "Millennial Elder," I embrace lifelong learning and growth.
